Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Jeremy has always drawn on the spirit of his home to bring life to his music. His love for the natural majesty of Table Mountain, framed by the Atlantic Ocean on the one side and the Indian on the other, has found expression in many works throughout his lifetime. This inspiring wilderness is complemented to remarkable effect by the melting-pot of Capetonian social life, with its complex cultural history and rich web of contemporary relations.
